    DEPUTY SHERIFF

    Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office

    The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is currently seeking dedicated, professional, and community-oriented individuals to serve as Deputy Sheriff in multiple positions, including Patrol Deputy, Civil Process Deputy, and Corrections Deputy. Responsibilities include enforcing laws, maintaining public safety, and building positive relationships in the community, while demonstrating integrity, sound judgement, and a commitment to public service.

    Salary range $54,710-87,535; dependent on qualifications and experience, plus a one-time $10,000 bonus for Patrol Deputies with a current DCJS Law Enforcement certification, a one-time $5,000 bonus for Civil Process Deputies with a current DCJS Law Enforcement certification, and a one-time $2,500 bonus for Corrections Deputies with a current DCJS Corrections Certification, all paid per policy guidelines. The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office offers an excellent benefits package, including health, dental and vision, flex spending, life, disability, VRS retirement, 401 & 457 retirement options, onsite clinic, wellness programs, paid overtime, and much more.

    Preference and salary consideration may be given to currently certified applicants with certifications including, but not limited to, DCJS Law Enforcement Officer, DCJS Corrections Officer, General Instructor, Firearms Instructor, SWAT Operator, Defensive Tactics Instructor, and Breath Alcohol Operator certifications.
